In 2006 the Melrose Park Fire Department Advanced Life support ambiances responded to approx.  XXXX calls for assistance.  Our full time staff of highly trained Paramedics and Emergency Medical Technicians have three fully equipped ALS ambulances units (2 frontline and 1 reserve) providing a quick response to your ambulance emergency.  Four full time paramedics are on duty everyday.

Our state licensed ambulances and responders are associated with the Loyola Emergency Medical System.   We maintain a close relationship with the Westlake Hospital and Gottlieb Hospital Emergency Departments. Through this hospital system our quality of service is monitored and improved through monthly continuing education classes held at the station.
